Montecristo Espada Oscuro
A few years back, Altadis' Grupo de Maestros, a collection of their master blenders worked with the Plasencia family, using their finest tobaccos to produce the original Montecristo Espada, which achieved a 92-rating and a top 25 place in 2015. So they once again connected to the Plasencias and sifted through all their best leaf to create a fantastic follow-up- Montecristo Espada Oscuro.
Rather than the original's Habano wrapper from Jalapa, this capa is a singular Habano Rosado Oscuro with more depth, flavor, and strength. This Nicaraguan puro boasts plenty of flavor. A medium to full-bodied gem, Montecristo Espada Oscuro has notes of leather, earth, and pepper and is the ideal sequel to a cigar that's become one of the most popular Montecristos.
